In Memory of Mr. Kau - Our August ALOHA Party

Hello friends,

In memory of Mr. Bernard Kau, our loving landlord who passed away yesterday on December 12, 2010, we are creating this post with pictures and videos of our Aloha Party back on August 7, 2010. The party was to welcome my Mom, to say goodbye to Vince and to wish Drop-In Center volunteer Helene a good trip to China.

Thank you Mr. Kau, the one man band, for being the life of the party!

My Diet Success! Energy, Ideal Weight, Drop in Cholesterol, Increased Immune System...all in less than a year

Hi all,

I'm very excited about my new diet with Dr. Panjak Naram. I saw Dr. Naram at Extreme Health in LA (a Peak Potentials Seminar). Get this:

I started the diet in late June and...

My cholesterol dropped from 248 to 163
My weight went from 131 to 124
My energy has increased.
Though I fly often and spend all day at seminars, I do not get sick anymore.
I feel lighter!

I'm very excited! I'm so glad that this seminar was the first I attended in the Peaks series, because after the first seminar (Millionaire Mind Intensive) in May, I was sick for weeks! I was even sick at Extreme Health. I don't get sick and I fly more now...isn't that amazing?!

I'm so excited!

If you're interested, I can tell you more about the diet. The main goal of it is to only eat foods that are easy to digest.  It's a big jump from the American diet...

...no meat, no wheat (Dr. Naram suggests spelt as a substitute), no processed food, no fermented food (yup, no alcohol, no soy sauce, no miso, no kimchee, no yoghurt), no tomatos, no eggplant, no mushrooms, no okra, no plain potatos (sweet potatos are ok), no green bell peppers, no hot spice peppers (sweet peppers OK) (don't ask me why...I don't know why, I just know it works)...

...Eat green leafy veggies everyday, all vegetables are cooked (no raw salad), use warm spices like cumin, coriander, saffron, cinnamon, cloves...eat brown rice, quinoa, smaller beans that are easier to digest like mung beans (highly recommended), lentils, sweet potatos, avocado, fruit (has to be sweet, not sour), papaya is highly recommended, basically anything fresh that's not on the no list above.

...Tofu and cheese can be eaten on occasion. Cheese causes mucus build up so don't eat it when you have a cold.

Eat whenever you are hungry and eat as much as you want!

My Webpage from The Ultimate Internet Bootcamp - Pro Leg Exercise

Hi all!

I went to LA and worked on making a webpage that will make me $100K in a year as long as I work on it an hour a day. Please check it out, order the $1 guide, leave a comment and cheer me on. When I succeed I'll send you all there to do it too!

Visit http://www.prolegexercise.com/

Here is a video of an interview of me about the website:

On the last day of the camp, it was my birthday. I actually sat right next to another woman, who I didn't know, but who had the same birthday!  We got to go on stage and everybody sang Happy Birthday to us =)

Please comment and share =)

Thank you for visiting Mey's Awesome World!

Tinman Triumph 7-25-10

Today I rocked the Tinman Triathlon! I am 11 minutes faster than last year with a 2:44!!!

2010: Age group 30-34 rank 11 (out of 23), Overall rank 332 (out of 583), Overall Time 2:44:36.0
Swim 9/246 15:20.2  T1  2:31.8  Bike 10/332 1:24:01.7  T2  0:49.5  Run 16/382 1:01:52.7

2009: Age group 30-34 rank 14 (out of 28), Overall rank 350 (out of 542), Overall Time 2:55:07.0
Swim 10/193 15:50.1  T1 8/132 2:38.2  Bike 16/394 1:30:13.8  T2 2/64 0:50.5  Run 16/383 1:05:34.2

This Tinman Triathlon meant a lot to me, because I almost didn't do it. I had committed to doing it at the beginning of the year, for Iron Man Triathlon prep training, and was backing out by making all kinds of excuses! However, I decided that I was not going to let myself back out of my commitments, so I signed up last minute and voila!
Happy to be on the Beach Ready to Swim!

I'm really grateful to all the people who worked hard to make the Tinman possible. It's so cool to bike without having to stop at traffic lights! The volunteers who gave us water and cheered us on were awesome. This was the 30th year anniversary and I was proud to be a part of it!

This is me at 4:40am ready to go!

Some of these videos are sideways, and I'm not sure how to flip them right side up!
